On July 22 and Aug. 19, the Division of Personnel organized two training lessons on “management communication and negotiation skills”, as planned in a continuing education program for all staff. LI Chuanjun, professor form Renmin University, gave a lecture to 140-odd staffers in three classes.
With the assertion that communication is key to smooth going of work and negotiation win-win to competitors, LI explained in detail categories, targets, links, skills, listening and responding in communication as well as content, principles, skills and follow-up actions in negotiation. The lecture was illustrated with many vivid cases and examples, making easy the understanding and feasible the use by staffers in actual work.
Continuing education training offers compulsory courses for promotion of professional titles, which are also effective in upgrading job skills. The training would boost the wholesale EQ and efficiency of the whole staff.
