When golden autumn was hailing seasonal pleasantness and the 19th CPC Congress, the bi-annual academic conference of HVAC & Refrigeration Association of Hebei Province was held in Shijiazhuang (seat of the provincial government) on Oct. 26th, 2017. The conference was co-organized by the provincial branch of the Branch Association of Architectural Environment & Energy Application affiliated to China Engineering & Consulting Association, Hebei HVAC Academic Association and Hebei Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Association, attended by well-known institutes and universities of the province. FANG Guochang (deputy Chairman of the provincial Branch Association of Architectural Environment & Energy Application), MA Yuguo (Executive Deputy Chairman and Secretary General of the provincial Association of Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Industry) and other leaders attended the meeting. Association members WU Deshan, HU Enchen, WANG Yong and LIU Hongtao from the Institute (TPADRI) were also present, led by Vice President YE Hongzhang who is Chairman of the Provincial Association of Architectural Environment & Energy Application, member of HVAC Association and Hebei Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Association.
Vice chairmen SHI Huiqun and WANG Haiying chaired the conference, followed by FANG Guochang and MA Yuguo, expressing a warm welcome to all participants. The conference later saw a few speakers delivering their keynote speeches on “ Keys in Green Construction Plan Review of Hebei Province”, “Constructions of Passive Low Energy Consumption”, “Flexible Renovation of Thermal Power Plants - Loading of Electric Heat Storage Technology”, “Application and Prospects of Radiant Heating and Cooling Technology” and “Reflections and Considerations of Coal-to-Electricity Heat Supply”, etc. FANG Guochang further noted that election of Professor JIANG Yi of Tsinghua University as academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering justified that HVAC & Refrigeration was not a subject attached to Architect, which was a proof of the state’s sufficient attention to this branch of science and energy saving. He compared the move to an incentive to less energy consumption for the dream of a greener world for descendants.
LIU Zhiqiang (Chief Engineer from North China Engineering Design Institute) delivered his speech of “Keys in Green Construction Plan Review of Hebei Province” and WANG Xinliang (Chief Engineer from Construction Design Institute of Hebei Province) “Delicate Design of Houses”, both presenting guidance to design ideals and drawing paper quality.
The conference posed a clear picture on cutting-edge development of HVAC & Refrigeration, which would facilitate upgrade of the design quality and level of TPADRI for business expansion and a leading place in the sector of the province.
