Scheduling Meeting Held for Operation/Production

On the morning of 16th, a scheduling meeting for operation and production was held, attended by President WANG Chunyan, Secretary WANG Jianhua and other leaders and heads of each department and division. The meeting was chaired by Vice-president YE Hongzhang.

YE briefed on the operation and production situation of the Institute as of October 31st, followed by reports by heads of each production department and division on projects underway and tracking of new projects. President WANG debriefed the reports and gave due advice.

Vice-president LI Shuanglai reported briefly on the margin call of designs of each department and division. Vice-president WU Xiaokun  announced the establishment of Design Innovation Center, aimed at improvement of plan design levels and fostering related talents. He also called for close cooperation among all departments involved in a bid to continually upgrading the overall creation quality.

Secretary WANG detailed requirements on work for the near term: firstly before the end of this year, all departments should, based on “four work mechanisms”, make reverse order arrangements of project time limit to guarantee punctual finish of each project; secondly, preparations should be made for annual examination of mid-level cadres and duty report by those concerned; thirdly, the 2016-2020 Strategic Development Plan of the Institute shall be finalized by the end of this month and made known to all, to which enough attention should be paid by each department; fourthly, advantage of the warming real estate market should be taken and prompt actions done via early plans.

In the end, President WANG gave a conclusion. She analyzed the political situation of the city, saying that the convening of the Party congress started a new round of leadership re-election in all counties and districts, which would require a sober mind of all cadres with clear political awareness and consideration of the overall situation while more efforts are to be made in pursing payments for designs and tapping markets. She added with significance of the  2016-2020 Strategic Development Plan of the Institute, especially its guideline in five years of “platform-based operation, data-based management, talent-based rejuvenation, goal-based incentive and system reform-based planning” to realize development via mode-change and brand-new management styles and methods. She expressed her hope that mid-level cadres should upgrade their leadership qualities to convey positive energy, motivate the potential of all staff and raise the competitiveness of the Institute for a favorable start of 2017.
