On July 8th, a Party lecture was given by ZHANG Shanliang, vice-secretary in charge of the Party Committee of the organs of the Bureau of Urban and Municipal Planning of the city, on the program of “Two Studies and One Being (studying the Party Constitution and Regulations and talks by CPC General Secretary XI Jinping and being a Qualified Party member)”. Party secretary WANG Jianhua, vice-secretary SONG Zehua as well as secretaries from 13 branches and all Party members attended the meeting.
Secretary ZHANG Shanliang gave a lecture centering on the theme of “obeying rules, shouldering responsibilities, boosting development and being a qualified Party member” as well as how to understand and treat “personal interests”. He explained profoundly but in simple terms the overall strategy of governing the country by President XI Jinping and, based on Party Constitution and “Integrity and Self-discipline Criteria”, urged all Party members present to maintain forever the Party’s progressiveness and purity. He also asked all members to study the Party Constitution and XI Jinping’s talks with targeted problems so as to be a Party member with firm beliefs, integrity and self-discipline and sense of responsibility. After the meeting, all texts for study would be uploaded into the QQ chat group for access of all Party members in daily work.
Through the study meeting, all participants were fully aware that the keys of the program lie in thorough learning and true doing by regularly reviewing the Party’s Constitution to standardize one’s own speech and deeds.
