After hard work for two years and three months by all staff involved, a new office building (Building C) is completed. On May 18th, the Institute was immersed in happiness and harmony. All staff greeted a long-awaited day when the building was put into use. A big event!
The new building, designed by Department II of Construction Design, features six storeys, with simple but grand looks and facades plus perfect facilities: a spacious and tidy lobby, a wall of brief history, a crystal-clear LED screen, comfortable central air-conditioning, a rigorous safety system, multifunctional meeting rooms, recreation rooms… all representing modern management ideals of the Institute. The new building greatly improves the office environment where staff of all field gather for better cooperation and coordination of all departments.
To guarantee a smooth and timely entry into the building, the Institute set up a leadership group headed by President WANG Chunyan and Party Secretary WANG Jianhua. The group regularly convened to make proper arrangements and heard reports on progress of the construction based on specified responsibilities. The group also instructed the Division of Property to adopt car number identification system to tackle the problem of car parking.
New building ushers in a new start and image, marking a great step forward as well as a new page in the history of the Institute. All leaders and staff will, by virtue of the relocation, live up to the development ideal of the Institute with new spiritual looks and courage to make due contributions to make the Institute a “famous enterprise in the circle of China’s project survey and design”.
