On November 6, Party Committee of the Institute convened “’Three stricts and three honests’ Project-based Education” Second Project seminar (“Three stricts and three honests” refers to “be strict in morals, power and disciplining oneself; be honest in decisions, business and behavior”). The seminar, themed “Being Strict with oneself and abiding by the Party's political discipline and political rules”, was chaired by the secretary of the Party committee WANG Jjianhua and attended by all members of the Institute leading group.
At the meeting, Secretary WANG led attendees to comprehend the Party's “political rules”, while interpreting the spirit of the speech delivered by provincial Party committee secretary ZHAO Kezhi during his inspection to Tangshan and Xibaipo. In respond to Secretary WANG, around the seminar theme and in combination with personal thought and respective work as well as positive and negative examples, the leading group members respectively expressed their own understanding and experience, found out problems and shortcomings in themselves and determined rectification plans in the next step, fully reflecting their attitudes and determinations to consciously practice the requirement of “Three stricts and three honests”. Everyone present agreed that, through the collective study and discussion, they had a deeper mastery of Party spirit and a further understanding of the scientific connotation of “Three stricts and three honests”, and also, recognized their own gaps with role models and clarified the orientations of their future efforts.
In concluding remarks, secretary WANG said the fact that such serious cases of violations of law and discipline as ZHOU Yongkang case and LING Jihua case were investigated and dealt with further purified the Party and consolidated the Party's ruling status. Party members and cadres should take negative examples as warnings, firmly establish discipline consciousness and rule consciousness and really be strict and honest in belief, work and style. Also, as for how to “ be strict with oneself and abide by the Party's political discipline and political rules”, secretary WANG required all leading cadres of the Institute to: strengthen political faith and strictly adhere to political discipline and political rules; improve work style and raise self-discipline consciousness; and incorporate the practice of fulfilling “Three stricts and three honests” into the overall process of effectively promoting various work of the Institute.
