Scheduling Meeting Held for Operation/Production of October

On October 13th, the Institute convened a scheduling meeting for operation and production. The meeting, chaired by YE Hongzhang (Vice President of the Institute), was attended by leaders including WANG Chunyan (President of the Institute) and WANG Jianhua (Secretary of the Party Committee) as well as principals of all the offices.
According to the agenda, Vice President YE delivered a brief of the Institute’s operation and production from January to September before assigning key work for the near future: first, taking steps simultaneously to collect fees to fulfill all targets for production and management; second, strengthening efforts to expand sources of business for next year’s projects. Following YE’s speech  , leaders of the management offices and production sections briefed to the attendees about their respective work arrangement, ongoing tasks, recent work plans and reserved project as well as questions which need to be resolved by the Institute.
In course of listening to speeches of all offices, President WANG Chunyan gave targeted advice and, taking into account the current political and economic situation, made five requirements for the Institute’s work to be completed by the end of the year that: all of the mid-leaders strengthen their political sensitivity, put an end to fluke mind, and set strict demands on themselves in the light of standards for Party members; a mid-level cadre team, based on IQ, EQ, AQ, HQ and FQ, be forged in all directions, in which case all the professional General Managers strengthen the construction of teams to act as qualified academic leaders; the talent teams be further regulated through personnel appraisal to provide proper growth space for technical backbones; with the increase of efficiency to be driven by management innovation, it is important to target city transition and industry chain involved in logistics industry and modern manufacturing industry, and simultaneously to make much development effort for scientific research tasks; and diversified business advantages be utilized to capture survival space for each specialty and to continuously enhance market share.
Also at the meeting, each vice president and chief engineer gave their own ideas and suggestions on the matters and issues in regards to greater effort for research-and-development project, collection of design fees, quality safety management and annual assessment. Secretary WANG Jianhua underlined importance and sustainability to implement the eight-point code of Political Bureau of the Central Committee and combat “four undesirable work styles (formalism, bureaucracy, hedonism and extravagance)”, which he required all the mid-level cadres pay high attention to and implement in strict accordance with the provisions.
