Themed Training of Effective Communication and Team Construction
Generally, men are more likely to be inspired by a simple conversation than years of separate and individual work. Thought is bound to be generated in interpersonal communication but processed and expressed in loneliness.
A one-day special themed training of Effective Communication and Team Construction was held on August 6. WANG Chunyan (President), WANG Jianhua (Secretary of the Party) and other Institute leaders, mid-level cadres and business backbone attended the training.
SHANG Shuili, a famous professor and doctorial advisor of the Department of Public Management of the University of International Relations (Beijing), was invited as the lecturer. Professor SHANG has attained valuable achievements in terms of political economy, management, psychology and so on. His visit to France and England for further study and years of education and training provide him with rich experience. Excellence of his lecture was acknowledged by all.
SHANG applied philosophizing in dialectic analysis of the frequently-confronted problems in communication and management, root causes of the cruces via contradictory proposition and psychological changes in interpersonal communication by psychology before summing up factors leading to effective communication such as skills of expression and listening, PREP principles, ten essential elements for promotion, solutions to conflicts and prime procedures of impromptu speech. Based on rich theories, SHANG presented many a case to elaborate the key role of expression and listening in interpersonal communication. Also, he stressed the importance of subjective initiative in team construction, encouraging the employees to give full display to their own advantages, gain more skills, assume post liabilities actively and make mental contributions to team construction.
SHANG arranged interactive sessions in the speech to avoid vapidity due to single instruction pattern. What choice will be made facing crises and temptations in extreme conditions? All are impressed directly and deeply by the immersive psychological tests and games.
Apart from basic instruction on Effective Communication and Team Construction, Professor SHANG put special emphasis on the practical management issues emerging in the Institute , analyzing and rendering advice on such problems with advanced managerial experience of outstanding enterprises at home and abroad for reference while offering reasonable suggestions with strong operability.
The training ended successfully in warm applause for Professor SHANG's humorous and witty address. Through the training, all the employees benefited a lot by gaining knowledge on skills and art of communication and a sober understanding on the relationship between personal development and public interests. All the employees agreed to put what was learnt in the training into flexible application, change their thoughts actively, abandon bad habits and enter into a harmonious relationship with their colleagues, leaders and all external parties involved, devoting themselves to the utmost in transformation and development of the Institute.
