Scheduling Meeting Held for Operation/Production of May

On the morning of May 7th, the Institute convened a scheduling meeting for operation and production. The meeting, chaired by YE Hongzhang (Vice President of the Institute), was attended by leaders including WANG Chunyan (President of the Institute) and WANG Jianhua (Secretary of the Party Committee) as well as principals of all the offices.
At the meeting， the matters discussed were as follows: how to keep the Institute’s steady development under the severe internal and  external situation it faces; how to expand its business in fierce market competition; how to carry out reform and innovation in a tide of technical changes; and how to develop and stabilize talent team. 
At the meeting, Vice President YE delivered a brief of the Institute’s operation and production from January to April; leaders of the management offices and production sections briefed to the attendees about their respective work arrangement, ongoing tasks as well as questions arising from their work, actively seeking, with combinations of the advantages of their offices and sections, an integrating point on the application of new technology, expressing their constructive and exercisable concepts and proposals, and providing many ideas for development of business and innovation. Also at the meeting, each vice president and chief engineer gave their coordination and concrete guidance to production sections to resolve difficulties in projects.
In the end, WANG Chunyan, President of the Institute, made a closing speech. She analyzed in detail the market-oriented economy situation of Tangshan City, its surrounding regions and the whole country. As the era of “going out to find new markets” has come, she said, all the mid-level cadres should adapt themselves to new normal economy development to mend their own thoughts, to plan advanced and cutting-edge technology like BIM and “Sponge City”, and to continuously increase their capacity to resist risks. Despite facing severe market situation, President WANG was full of confidence in the Institute’s prospect, saying in an encouraging tone to all the attendees that, crises and challenges coexist forever, all the leaders and workers should unite as one with confidence to grasp the development opportunity of 2016 International Horticultural Exposition, and to join in a common effort to break a sound ground for the Institute’s sustainable, stable development.
