On the morning of April 24th, TANG Fengguo (Section Chief of the Handan Construction Bureau) and other three members of the Bureau’s leadership visited the Institute. The leaders had an informal interview with WANG Chunyan (President of the Institute), LIU Yumin (Vice President of the Institute), WU Xiaokun (Vice President of the Institute) and LI Yan (Director) in the meeting room on the second floor.
At the meeting, Vice President YE gave an introduction concerning the affiliation, qualifications, personnel and performance of the Institute before inviting the guests to watch the Institute’s publicity film Years Are Like Songs. TANG spoke highly of the film for it impressively interprets in a visual and comprehensive manner of the Institute’s enterprise spirit “responsibility, innovation, pragmatism and excellence”. And then he provided information on the development planning of Handan in 5 to 8 years ahead, emphatically mentioning the construction of 130-plus roads in the new east district. With a broad prospect for cooperation with the Institute, he hoped the Institute could pay a field visit to Handan.
Vice President LIU Yumin elaborated the road projects with the Institute’s contracts in terms of distribution of areas, scales, technical difficulties and field service as well as earnestly answered the questions on issues Mr. TANG was interested in. Also at the meeting, Vice President YE made an analysis of development trend of real estate market in both Tangshan and Handan, confirming the necessity and advantage of the cooperation between the two cities, hoping that, with this exchange, there would be a long-term cooperative relationship between the Institute and Handan Construction Bureau, and that both sides should work together to further their economic development and urban construction.
After the meeting, TANG and other three members of the Bureau leadership, accompanied by the leaders of the Institute, visited the field projects including Nanhu (South Lake) Park for Recreations and Delicacies.
