Director LIU Jingwen and Leadership Members of the Municipal BureauofUrban-Rural Planning Pay Post-Festival Visit to the Institute
With the coming of spring, everything turned fresh again. February 25 was the first working day after the Spring Festival. That morning, LIU Jingwen (Director of the Municipal Bureau of Urban-Rural Planning) and other four members of the Bureau leadership visited the Institute. The officials expressed sincere solicitude and festive greetings to cadres and staff of the Institute and encouraged them to create greater success this year. The leaders had an informal interview with WANG Chunyan (President of the Institute) and other leadership members in the meeting room on the second floor.
Director LIU told the leaders of the Institute that he was here to extend greetings and communicate his expectations for 2015. He referred to reformation of state-run institutions as a task of primary importance for the Institute in 2015 as it concerned all aspects of the Institute’s work and each person’s immediate interests and thus would inevitably incur difficulties and challenges during its implementation, which would understandably stir the stability among the staff, a situation that would need careful consideration and counter-measures to ease contradictions for smooth implementation of the reformation. He added that under the less optimistic economic situation and in face of more intensifying competition, in order to implement reformation the Institute should not only withstand the pressure, but also grasp opportunities. He promised to provide favorable conditions for the reformation and help in publicity and persuasion as necessary, in addition to strong support for operation of the Institute. He also stressed that the main task of the Institute was to focus on operation, fundamental to staff's interests. He firmly believed that the Institute, under the leadership headed by President WANG, would surely make concerted efforts to overcome difficulties, complete reformation and gain more brilliant achievements.
Advice and expectations from the Bureau leaders greatly inspired cadres and staff of the Institute. After responding with thanks to the Bureau leaders, President WANG said that the Institute would work hard on implementing smooth reformation and further enlarge and strengthen the Institute operation through advancing new technologies and new areas based on the efforts on traditional fields so as to achieve new striding development in 2015.
