On October the 15th, TPADRI held the Dispatch Conference on Operation and Production for the fourth quarter. Institute leaders and middle-level chief officials attended the conference which was presided by Vice President Ye Hongzhang.
At the conference, the office of finance made the auditing reports, along with advice on the renovation of the existing problems with analysis on our institute’s financial state.
Soon after that, chief engineer Wang Lianzhu announced two specific statements on the qualities of the designs of our institute. Statement 1 is said to establish the life-long project responsibility for all possible defects caused by the project quality. Statement 2 is said that the Chief Engineering Department should conduct random inspections on project qualities and set out corresponding penalties for quality defects. Vice President Wu Xiaojun also made comments about the lack of intensity of all departments’ workloads. He thus demanded that every unit should set about the individual study of professional work and knowledge development. Vice President Liu Yumin also stressed on how to expand market shares especially when the designing market is comparatively down, he stressed the institute should pay more attention to the project bidding trends of other provinces and regions, to positively advance into the designing market of other provinces and regions.
Upon hearing the speeches of everyone, President Wang Chunyan made a conclusive speech. She emphasized that to continually break through the 100 million RMB revenue record, to realize the great success of total revenue exceeding 100 million RMB for 5 consecutive years, in the following two months, the focal points of our work direction should be: First, make a better project reserve, which forced every department to transform the fashion of thinking, to expand ways of thinking, to enthusiastically seek, develop and foster new revenue increasing opportunities, for instance rural areas and county markets, try to find prospect clients through multi-paths so as to lay a solid foundation for next year’s auspicious start. Second, learn how to adapt to and take advantage of the regional characteristics.
The leader of each department should learn how to develop talent by character, to manage human resources from all angles and to restrain individualism using the structures of standardization and regulation on the intention to protect collectivism benefits. Third, vigorously communicate with each other on the institute scale, collaborate actively. Every department should cherish the opportunities of mutual discussion, to share more thoughts, to learn from the better performing ones, to complete others so as to generate more successes subsequently.
Prior to the conference, the attenders discussed the layout for the Research and Development Building. President Wang requested, to save energy and lower consumption, the responsible ones and designers should get involved in advance, divide the divisions reasonably, so to avoid a second design after settling up.
