On the morning of February 11, with a bloodmobile from Tangshan Central Blood Station parked in its yard, the Institute organized a voluntary blood donation.
This campaign came at a time when the city saw a growing blood shortage caused by the COVID-19 epidemic. Upon the municipal government’s call for blood donation, President Wang Chunyan and Secretary Wang Jianhua actively arranged for the voluntary blood donation.
As a state-owned survey and design unit, the Institute responded positively amid the anti-epidemic fight. While protecting themselves, many of the staff in the professional organization signed up to offer their blood.
On the blood donation site, 14 physically-fit flood donators donated blood in turn after completing the preparation work, filling in the registration form and receiving blood test. With firm eyes, clenched fists and red blood, they conveyed their desire for and reverence toward life and manifested their sense of mission in fighting the
epidemic.
The blood donators joining this activity are: Wu Yi from Jianzheng Office; Zhang Jingxuan from the Special Planning Section; Wang Yonggang from Engineering Consulting Section; Zhao Boru from the Program Creation Center; Lan Caibin and Dong Jinliang from the Caofeidian Branch; Su Hanning, Luo Wenchao, Zhang Bo and Zhang Jianquan from the Surveying and Mapping Departmemt; Gao Zhijiang, from the Treasury Department; Tang Jubo and Ren Katie from the Road & Bridge Section; and Zhang Bin from the Architectural Design Section Ⅱ.
During the event, Secretary Wang Jianhua, Vice President Wu Xiaokun and Director Xu Hao inspected the site and extended their appreciation to the 14 voluntary blood donors.
