To strengthen the leadership construction, energize the workers and business starters and deepen comprehensive strengthening of Party discipline, on the forenoon of May 9, 2017 Annual City-Administrating Cadres and Leadership Examination and Assessment Meeting was held at the sixth-floor conference room. CHEN Xiaoguang, Chief of the Personnel Division of the Organizational Department of the CPC Tangshan Municipal Committee, guided the meeting as the leader of the examination and assessment team and LEI Jiandong, deputy investigator of Tangshan Planning Bureau, presided over the meeting. Leaders and the middle-level cadres of the Institute attending the meeting totaled more than 70.
At the meeting, Director Chen gave a speech around the significance, procedures and attentions of the examination, requiring that all the attendants gain a full understanding of the importance of the examination with correct and serious attitude, complete the democratic evaluation bill with facts to offer an objective, fair and just refection of the achievements made and problems existing in the leadership in work in 2017.
Subsequently, President WANG Chunyan gave a work report on behalf of the leadership in the Institute, where it was pointed out that, in despite of continued depression in engineering design industry and intensifying industry competition, the Institute leadership has been planning ahead and collaboratively leading the staff to follow overall deployment of the municipal Party committee and municipal governmentclosely, that the leadership, within an insight of industry trends, has been keeping operation and production as its main task, and following delicacy management in serious implementation of the policy of platform-based operation, data management, talent cultivation, target-based motivation and restructuring and planning, and that the leadership has been taking great effort in promoting operation and production with the opportunities, such as coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, Planning and construction of Xiong'an New District and road network upgrade. Meanwhile, the Institute has achieved steady and continuous development with successful achievement of the goals set in the beginning of the year by deepening and promoting the activities of normalizing the study of Two Studies, One Action, studying and publicizing the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, fully implementing Two Responsibilities and working steadily and hard to build a clean government.
Democratic evaluation was carried out overcity-administrating cadres and leadership in terms of their annual work, integrity and self-discipline and so on after the work report.
After the meeting, the examination and assessment team held talks with some middle-level cadres in two groups.
