2017 Annual Middle-Level Cadres Work Reporting Meeting Succeeds
To strengthen the leadership construction, give an objective and impartial evaluation on the performance of the middle-level cadres and provide reference to cadre appointment and assessment, 2017 Annual Middle-Level Cadres Reporting Meeting was held in the Institute on the forenoon of February 6. Institute leaders, President WANG Chunyan and Secretary WANG Jianhua included, and all the middle-level cadres attended the meeting, presided over by WANG.
In the meeting, 66 middle-level cadres reported their work in turn, where, with focus on work duties, a summary of business contracting, production organizing, talent cultivating and theoretical study over the year was made with personal deficiencies inspected and future efforts specified. Basically all the cadres made the report without notes. Their clear logic and well-organized expression gave full display of the good spirit of the middle-level cadres in the Institute.
It is worth mentioning that 9 deputies made their first appearance in the reporting. The appointment of such young cadres at their thirties displays specific practice of the policy of revitalizing the Institute through talent power, and also serves as an importance part in personnel echelon construction, breathing new life into the cadre group in the Institute with vitality increased.
Subsequently, Secretary WANG made a brief summary. He firstly gave affirmative remarks on the meeting discipline and made comment on reporting of the middle-level cadres, followed by the notification of conclusion and findings of the inspection team upon open and private investigation into the Institute recently. Also, WANG made a deployment over key tasks in the near future.
Finally came the concluding speech of President WANG Chunyan where three aspects were centered upon. First, overall quality elevation in the middle-level cadres was affirmed. She pointed out that the reporting meeting not only served as a platform for study, exchange and growth, but also provided opportunities to identify and cultivate talents. The middle-level cadres made full preparations for the reporting meeting in no means of exaggerating achievements or evading the problems existing. Active assistance and responsibility observed in the deputies fully displayed the positive energy and cohesiveness in the group. Second, she made an analysis of the political and economic situation in the new era after success of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and shared the favorable achievements of the Institute over the past year. She emphasized that the large-scale cooperation and coordination among the departments had contributed to development of the Institute. Also, she expressed heartfelt thanks to all the middle-level cadres for their contributions and efforts in the past year and high respect to the older generation of the Institute for their diligent and selfless dedication. Thirdly, the bottleneck problems that are limiting the development of the Institute were dissected with the current situation of inspection and design market taken into account, in the hope that all the cadres, with pooled wisdom and efforts, propose advice for continuous and sound progress of the Institute.
