Recently, the Institute, after struggling through several rounds of appraisals, stood out in the fierce contest with a number of large-scale design institutes and won the bid for Cangzhou Hengda Children's World project, involving related special municipal planning design as well as municipal roads and ancillary works plan, preliminary design and construction drawing design.
Hengda Children's World Project is designed especially for children to be the world's top all-indoor, all-weather and all-season fairy-tale & mythology theme park.
The project is located in Nandagang Development Zone of Cangzhou City, with a total area of ?739 hectares, where municipal roads in the infrastructure construction is about 42.21km in length overall. At present, there are only salt pan ridges accessible to pedestrians in the area. There is no other sizeable urban construction or infrastructure support. The planning area is undeveloped as a whole. This project starts with infrastructure design, needing close coordination of multiple design professions of roads, bridges, water supply and drainage, structure, gas, heat, power and communications.
After careful investigation, our institute’s design team put forward an earthwork balance design plan. Taking into consideration the site situation and targeting the project location, the plan carried out vertical and earthwork balance design, which avoided digging deep and filling high, saved lots of earthwork in the project and reduced the project cost. It was unanimously affirmed by Hengda Group.
In the subsequent special planning design and construction drawing design, the Institute’s design team will continue to adhering to the “quality first" design concept, actively adopt a rational and economical foundation handling method and new energy-saving environment-friendly pipes, use new processes and new materials, such as assembly inspection wells and thoroughly implement the design results in the spirit of craftsman so as to create a design work of safety, economy and applicability for the Hengda Group, Cangzhou region and tourists nationwide.
The success of this project marked the Institute joining hands with Hengda Group, a Fortune 500 company, laying a solid foundation for their deeper cooperation in real estate and other areas and built a new broader development platform for the institute.
